FAQs

What is White Mirror?

White Mirror is a contemporary temple space and esoteric studio located in the historic heart of Dunfermline, Scotland. It offers tarot readings, Sekhem energy treatments, spiritual mentorship, workshops, original artwork and a curated shop featuring mystical tools and Scottish makers. It is a place for spiritual development, ceremony and creative connection.

Where is White Mirror located?

White Mirror is based at 22 Maygate, Dunfermline, Scotland, directly opposite Dunfermline Abbey. Look for ‘Maygate Gifts’ and head up the stairs to the door on the left.

What are your opening hours?

Our shop and studio are open Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 12pm to 5pm. Sessions and events may be available outside these times by appointment.

How do I book a session?

You can book tarot readings, Sekhem treatments and mentorship sessions directly through our online scheduling page. For artwork commissions or collaborations, please use our contact form or email morgan@whitemirror.co.uk.

What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?

I have a ‘book it, you buy it’ policy. As I'm a small independent business, I have to protect my time and energy. Refunds or rescheduling may be possible at my own discretion, as I understand that life happens.

Do you offer gift vouchers?

Yes, gift vouchers for readings, commissions and in-store purchases are available for collection from the shop, or can be arranged by contacting us directly.

What is Sekhem and how does it work?

Sekhem is an energy healing modality with roots in ancient Kemetic spiritual systems. Sessions support deep energetic clearing and harmonisation by removing dense energy and activating higher frequencies within your field. Treatments take place lying on a treatment bed, with hands-on or no-contact options. Each session lasts around one hour.

What should I bring or wear to a session?

For Sekhem, wear loose, comfy and cosy clothes so you can relax and receive comfortably.

How do I prepare for a Sekhem session or mentorship?

For Sekhem, make sure you’re well hydrated and have a leisurely day to ground afterwards. Please refrain from alcohol or drug use before or directly after any session with me. For mentorship, you’ll receive more information as and when needed, tailored to your individual needs.

What can I expect from a tarot reading?

Tarot sessions at White Mirror are energetic activations, offering present-moment guidance, intuitive insights and support for your personal transformation. Messages may relate to healing, purpose, empowerment and practical next steps. Longer sessions include deeper energetic integration work.

Do you offer online readings or healing sessions?

Yes, most services can be conducted online or in person, including Sekhem energy healing, which can be given from a distance. When you book a tarot reading or Sekhem healing, the intake form will ask whether you’ll be attending in person at the White Mirror space or online. Some group containers and circles may be available in person only.

I am new to this work, can I still book a session?

Absolutely. White Mirror welcomes both beginners and experienced seekers. Morgan’s work centres on grounded, ethical spiritual development, meeting you exactly where you are on your path.

Can I attend if I am processing trauma?

In most cases, yes, but it’s always best to let any practitioner know if there is something particularly heavy or difficult you’re moving through. Some treatments or group containers may not be appropriate and could end up being detrimental rather than helpful at this time. I’ll always be honest and supportive in helping you decide what’s best for your current state of being.

What is one-to-one spiritual mentorship?

1:1 mentorship offers tailored support for your spiritual growth, intuitive development and personal transformation. Together we work on healing old patterns, building confidence in your inner guidance, developing ethical spiritual foundations and stepping into aligned purpose.

Do you have an online shop?

Not yet - we currently invite visitors to shop in person. Selected items, including ceremonial candles, may be posted upon request. For purchases or enquiries, please contact us or send a DM on Instagram.

Can I host a workshop or event at White Mirror?

Yes. White Mirror welcomes collaborations aligned with creativity, spirituality, empowerment, wellness, witchcraft, art and temple culture. The space can also be hired for holistic treatments and includes a treatment bed.

Can I sell my products at White Mirror?

We stock select handmade items from independent Scottish artists and makers. If you feel your work aligns with our ethos, please contact us with images and information.

Are sessions suitable during pregnancy?

Yes, but it’s best you let me know so we can discuss any special requirements or adaptations to treatments.

Do you offer concessions or sliding scale appointments?

Tarot readings have a two-tiered price system, and many group containers offer payment plans and accessible entry points for those who need them.

What is the best way to stay updated about events?

Follow @whitemirrorscotland on Instagram and check our scheduling page for monthly circles, workshops and community gatherings.

Is White Mirror accessible?

The White Mirror space is upstairs, so it is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible. Please keep this in mind when making a booking or planning a visit. If accessibility is an issue, please contact us to arrange a home visit for any service. We don’t want you to miss out and are happy to accommodate your needs where possible.

Can I drop into the space without booking?

Yes, you’re welcome to visit on days when the shop is open (Thursday–Saturday, 12–5pm), or any day you see the A-board sign outside – that means I’m in and open for visitors.

What is temple culture?

Temple culture is a modern revival of sacred communal practices rooted in reverence, transformation, creativity and connection to the unseen. White Mirror aims to re-awaken a living spiritual culture in modern Scotland through ceremony, devotion, artistry and ethical spiritual work.
